SYMPHONIC BAND (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This group is composed of advanced intermediate level wind and percussion instrumentalists who successfully audition to be in this performing ensemble. The curriculum includes literature of all areas and ages of wind band music.
 
WIND ENSEMBLE (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This group is composed of advanced level instrumentalists who successfully audition to be in this top performing ensemble. The curriculum includes literature of all areas and ages of wind band music.
 
ORCHESTRA (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This group is composed of intermediate level string instrumentalists who have experience on a orchestra instrument, or played in middle school orchestra. The curriculum includes literature of all areas and ages of string orchestra and full symphonic orchestra music.

CHAMBER ORCHESTRA (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This group is composed of intermediate-advanced and advanced level string instrumentalists who successfully audition to be in this top performing ensemble. The curriculum includes literature of all areas and ages of string orchestra and full symphonic orchestra music.

JAZZ BAND (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This is a more traditional big band style of ensemble. Members of Jazz Band will study, rehearse and perform various jazz styles including swing, Latin, rock and world music.

JAZZ COMBO (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This is the advanced jazz small combo. Members of Jazz Combo will study, rehearse and perform various jazz styles including swing, Latin, rock and world music.  Students in this ensemble will also spend time creating, rehearsing, and performing original music.
 
"PRIDE OF ARAPAHOE" MARCHING BAND (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
All students who are enrolled in the band or color guard program are able to participate in marching band. The marching band participates in various field show competitions throughout the fall, as well as at home football games. The marching band also performs in the Western Welcome Week parade in August and the Parade of Lights at the beginning of December.
 
"WARRIOR" PEP BAND (Grade 9, 10, 11, 12)
This band is the pep/spirit band that performs at many home (and some away) basketball games in support of the boys and girls basketball teams throughout their season. The pep band also performs at pep assemblies and post-season playoff games.
